Today’s post is about my love of the enchanting movie Le Fabuleux Destin d’Amélie Poulain. The whole thing takes place in Paris, and actually in Montmartre. In the movie, Amélie works at a cafe called Café des Deux Moulins. Since it is a real restaurant, I went there for a bite to eat:

I also found the lock on the Canal St. Martin where Amélie skips stones in the movie:

Finally, during one part of the movie, she is leading Nico, her love interest, on a maze around Sacre Coeur. Amélie draws blue arrows that Nico follows and I guess someone decided to draw some more, keep the myth alive:
