Today’s picture comes from my recent trip to the Pacific Northwest, specifically Portland and the Columbia River Gorge.  Though we didn’t have a ton of time to spend hiking around this beautiful, scenic area, we did get the chance to see this beautiful waterfall, which was only about 20 minutes from Portland (although we went all the way to our hotel in Stevenson, Washington first before heading backwards).  The hike was nice and I’ll be sure to post pictures later, but I like this simple picture of the sign for the falls and the falls themselves in the background.  Most pictures look like this or this, with the beautiful bridge that spans the falls (I have a few like that myself that I’ll post later).  But for now, the falls surrounded in greenery.  Enjoy!
